creating when it's raining

We needed this rain and the sky has opened the flood gates. Don't go surfing today or in the next two to three days especially at the beach breaks. Have been creating many new surfboards. The first half dozen have been 5'8 up to 6'3 and the designs are round pin single fins and also with two small side fins to the classic modern 5'8 to 6ft fish designs. These are boards for the individuals that know how to flow with the wave and ride front foot forward.
Stay tuned photo's to follow when boards get finished with custom paintings and tints with some opaques as well. These boards will make anyone look good in or out of the water.

Hello people how is your creative energy doing today? I believe that if the creative energy is not flowing some house cleaning is needed. If your not waking up energized then change is needed. It's time to break the habits and patterns that are not positively energizing your life today. Not tomorrow but today. As the saying goes everything in moderation. Keep surfing or whatever it is that keeps you energized. We all need a outlet of some kind, myself I have to surf and ride a mountain bike to stay balanced. So get outside and breath deep and clear your mind with a walk every day or at the least every other day.

from the past to the present

Today I want to thank all of the veterans who have served from the past to the present.
For without all of you we would not have this life of freedom. So next time your out and about and see a veteran or a military person just say thanks.

So the question today is are you going to paddle back out and patiently wait your turn for a wave or are you going to play the victim role and blame the world for your choices. Today we all have another day to make a difference in your own life and better yet someone Else's life. When one lets goes of ego then life begins to flow and more importantly grow forward.
So make a difference people and think twice and speak and act once and make it positive because I believe we get what we give.

sufing the waves through life

We had some great waves this week I hope everyone caught some good ones.
My thought today is after talking with different surfers on the beaches is this.
It is not the boards but the riders. If you ride a surfboard no matter the size you are a surfer period. There is no difference in the boards other than the way the ride. Once again I'm reminded of how attitude is everything if you ride a long board than show some respect and don't be a hog on a log. If you ride short boards and everything in between don't be a snake and paddle around someone who has been patiently waiting for the next wave. Remember it's not the board but the riders that determine the rides through life. So next time your surfing take a minute to realize what an amazing gift we all have to enjoy.
Don't forget to breath and last we all get what we give. More to come so enjoy this day one ride at a time.

Surfing, Shaping and Art

It has been four years now that I have been part of the SC art fair on Del Mar street. It's great to see so many different vendors out showing there products. To be part of the art fair really gives me a feel on the town let alone all of the people from locals to tourist just visiting. Today's thought is what can I change to improve my life. What do you think people?

San Clemente Art Fair First Sunday

Today was a great day to go to the drag races. It was my first time seeing the funny cars and the top fuel cars some at 300 to 320mpg. The power is so strong it vibrates your body. Tomorrow will be the art fair and i will be set up in front of a store named bliss. There is a farmers market as well to get some good food. So enjoy your Sunday and don't forget to change your clocks.

The Soul of Surfing Through Life

Why do YOU surf?
Think about it people WHY.
and what is it that makes you get in the
water year around in all types of waves and conditions. For me surfing is like meditating. It's a spiritual energy that is not very easy to describe. Surfing has kept me balanced in my life for many years and many more to come one day at a time. I enjoy shaping and riding my own boards because it keeps me even more in contact with the art of riding waves through life.
So as the saying goes in shaping measure twice and cut once. The same goes for speaking your mind. Much more to follow from art of shaping to the art of surfing.

Staying Balanced with Surfing and Shaping and Life

Its all about balance and you know what no one is going to balance your life for you but YOU.
Like surfing which takes alot of balance life takes much more. Like surfing life is all about riding the waves and letting the board do the work. When one breaks free from the negative habbits and patterns the rides improve with each wave.
